SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Pinckney Hugo Group, a full-service marketing communications firm, has hired Erin Brown, of Camillus, New York, as director of finance and accounting.
Before joining Pinckney Hugo Group, Brown was the controller at Sonbyrne Sales Inc., the convenience store division of Byrne Dairy. Her responsibilities included the daily oversight and management of accounting operations, including the preparation and review of financial reports. Prior to that, she gained experience working as a tax associate at Fust Charles Chambers LLP. She also previously worked as a real estate paralegal at Messenger & Elliott.
Brown is a New York State certified public accountant and a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Brown has a Master of Business Administration degree and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Madden School of Business at Le Moyne College.
