SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Pinckney Hugo Group, a full-service marketing communications firm, was recognized as an “Economic Champion of Central New York” by the CenterState Corp. for Economic Opportunity. This is the 12th year that the agency has received the distinction.
Since its start in 2002, Pinckney Hugo Group has grown organically from five to 90 employees. In the past year, the agency has made significant capital investments in technology and infrastructure. PHG purchased and renovated a 15,000-square-foot building adjacent to the agency’s existing 35,000-square-foot headquarters in Syracuse, New York. The annex opened this fall to accommodate the agency’s continued growth. The company has also expanded to the Rochester, New York, area and opened an office in Pittsford in late August.
In 2022, the agency will celebrate 20 years under current ownership.
At its virtual Economic Champions celebration on Nov. 4, CenterState CEO celebrated the region’s outstanding businesses and organizations for contributing to the growth of the region’s economy in the past year. Companies are recognized for adding new jobs, reaching company milestones, business expansions and investments in operations. Companies are nominated as Economic Champions for their accomplishments by peers, employees and staff.
