SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Pinckney Hugo Group, a full-service marketing communications firm in Syracuse, New York, was recognized as an “Economic Champion of Central New York” by the CenterState Corp. for Economic Opportunity on Oct. 29. This is the 10th year that Pinckney Hugo Group has received the distinction.
Since opening in 2002, Pinckney Hugo Group has grown from five to over 80 employees. Due to the increasing size of its staff, Pinckney Hugo Group has made significant capital investments in technology and staff development over the past year. Examples include a new security system, server, laptops and standing desks for team members. The agency has begun planning an expansion of its current 40,000-square-foot space to further accommodate continued growth.
CenterState CEO celebrates the region’s outstanding businesses and organizations at its annual Economic Champions luncheon for having hired new employees; expanded, relocated or made capital investments due to growth; received a local, statewide or national award; or celebrated a significant milestone or anniversary. Companies are nominated as Economic Champions for their accomplishments throughout the year by peers, employees and staff. This year the event brought together nearly 1,000 businesses, community leaders and guests.
