SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York has appointed Colleen Kernan, director of public relations at Pinckney Hugo Group, to secretary of its board of directors. As secretary, she is one of five executive committee officers on the board. Kernan has been a member of the board of directors for two years.
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York is to create, identify, and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children and families in Central New York and Northern Pennsylvania. The nonprofit organization operates the CNY Ronald McDonald House 24 hours a day, year-round for families of seriously ill children that travel to Syracuse to receive medical care at area hospitals.
